Sophia Kirner, artistically known as Sofiko, is a co-founder and currently serves as Director for Partnership and Fundraising of EFIAA.
From 2023 to 2024, Sophia participated in the ASA program as a volunteer in Ghana, contributing to the STTART project launched by OSDA, an ASA partner organization. During her stay, she supported the training of emerging artists and collaborated with local creatives on a music project, integrating diverse cultural influences.
Her work reflects her academic background in Social Anthropology, Media Studies, and a Master’s degree in Cultural Education, which imbue her efforts with cultural sensitivity and a deep understanding of societal dynamics.
Beyond her NGO work, Sophia is a multidisciplinary artist skilled in illustration, animation, painting, and video editing. She combines her passions for art and social impact to create lasting change in the communities she serves.
